As the neighborhood’s unofficial “Kool-Aid mom,” Brandie soaks up every minute that her home is alive with laughter and sticky-handed visitors. When she’s not helping run lemonade stands, watching her boys play baseball, or seeing her daughter jump horses, she writes and helps other writers. Studying at the Colson Center deepened her commitment to integrate faith, craft and service, which inspired her to found The Writing Room.
